I use my skillset to unify everyone’s needs by helping to scale businesses, ensure quality and build strong bonds with colleagues which motivate and elevate them in the quest to further their careers and the objectives of the business.
My 24 year career as a designer has given me insights into all aspects of a business and how design can help take it to the next level. I have worked with founders, senior management and other teams of varying disciplines - using my communication skills to make sure that all stakeholders work together for the best outcome by keeping everyone engaged, involved and motivated to produce the best work possible while solving the right problems at the right time.
In a nutshell:
I have lead teams of multi-disciplinary designers spread across several departments and products.
I have looked after product and marketing design teams to ensure alignment and consistency across channels making sure the business is showing its best face to clients, users and the world.
I develop and constantly improve processes and set goals for the team.
I nurture the team by providing learning opportunities and encouraging their growth.
I actively hire top talent to scale and structure the team.
I collaborate with senior management in developing and communicating business goals.
I work directly with founders on new product ideas.
I own the Design Systems and make sure that user experiences are consistent across products and features on all platforms.
I ensure quality and elevate the level of craft in the whole team.
I also roll up my sleeves when needed and participate in the design process.
